We at Atlas Security have chosen Action for Children as our charity partner for this year and beyond. Following an internal happiness survey, where we asked our people what charity area we should support, a children’s charity was the most popular choice of our employees.
Action for Children helps disadvantaged children across the UK, helping them through fostering or adoption, and by intervening early to stop neglect and abuse. They make life better for disabled children, influence policy and advocate for change. www.actionforchildren.org.uk
How Atlas Security is supporting this important charity
There will be multiple events over the next year aimed at raising money and awareness for this cause. First up, we have runners at the London Marathon on Sunday 23 April. A month later, we are putting together a team to do the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge to try and raise £350 in donations. Then on Saturday 17 June, we are going to support FestivAll – an inaugural festival event for the children and families supported by Action for Children, to be held in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire.
